Do a Good Turn Daily" has been the slogan for Boy Scouts for generations. Some good turns are big and some are small but each one is a thoughtful, kind, or helpful act that makes the world a nicer place to live.
Helping someone cross a busy street, cleaning up trash on the roadside, helping someone pick up an overturned grocery bag are small examples of a good turn. Sometimes just a kind hello to a stranger can lighten up their day.
Of course, saving a life, helping out others during disasters, helping maintain the environment, and volunteering are big good turns. But you don't have to do a good turn like these everyday. Get started small and work your way up!
